Getting Started

Meet in Matter is a platform that transforms how you collaborate in virtual spaces. It combines real-time meetings with interactive Matterport 3D environments, enabling teams to connect, present, and work together in immersive digital spaces.

You can get always free access to the dashboard by creating an account. No credit card required.

Meet in matter starts at no cost but we offer Pro and Pro+ plans with more features.

Virtual Meeting Experience

  • Meeting hosts have exclusive access to:
    • Switching between Matterport tours
    • Participant management:
      • Kick participants
      • Mute participants
    • Navigation controls:
      • Gather all participants to host
      • Enable follow mode for everyone
    • Recording meetings (Pro+ only)
    Note: These controls are only available to the meeting creator

  • Basic controls for all participants:
    • Leave meeting button
    • Microphone toggle (mute/unmute)
    • Camera toggle (on/off)
    • Screen sharing
    • Meeting setup (audio/video device selection)
    • Chat functionality
    • Go to other participants by clicking their camera feed
    Note: When the host leaves, other participants are removed after 1 minute

  • For all participants:
    • Move freely using mouse/keyboard
    • Click matterport navigation spots to move
    • Use dollhouse view for overview
    • Click on camera feeds to go to participants
  • Host-only navigation features:
    • Gather everyone to host location
    • Enable follow mode for group navigation
    • Switch between available tours
    Note: Only hosts can control group movement

  • For all participants:
    • See live video of all participants
    • View participant names and status
    • Click feed to go to participant location
  • Host-only camera feed controls:
    • Three-dot menu for participant management
    • Mute specific participants
    • Remove participants from meeting
    • Enable follow mode

  1. For Pro+ accounts:
    • Click the record button in the top control bar
  2. Recording captures:
    • All participant audio
  3. Recordings are used for:
    • Meeting Insights generation
    • AI analysis and transcription
  4. Note: Recording is only available for Pro+ accounts
Meeting Management

Free Plan:

  • 15 minute meeting duration
  • Up to 2 participants
  • Unlimited meetings

Pro Plan ($49/month):

  • Unlimited meeting time
  • Up to 8 participants
  • Scheduled meetings
  • Tour switching during meetings

Follow these steps to create a meeting:
  1. Go to your dashboard
  2. Navigate to My meetings
  3. Click + Create meeting
  4. Enter meeting details:
    • Subject (required)
    • Select Matterport tour(s) (required)
  5. For Pro/Pro+ accounts:
    • Enable Send meeting invitation
    • Add invitee emails
    • Set date/time
Note: You need at least one Matterport tour to create meetings

  • From the My meetings page on the dashboard you can:
    • View all previous and upcoming meetings in a table format
    • Copy meeting links to share with participants
    • View meeting details including schedule and participants by clicking on a meeting
    • Delete meetings when no longer needed
    • Edit meeting subject and Matterport tours
    • See meeting date, time, and invited participants (Pro/Pro+ only)

You can share a meeting in two ways:

  1. For Pro/Pro+ accounts:
    • Enable "Send meeting invitation" during creation
    • Add participant email addresses
    • Invitees will receive an email with meeting details
  2. For all accounts:
    • Copy the meeting link from the meetings table
    • Share the link directly with participants
Note: Free plan is limited to 2 participants per meeting

  • Meetings are private to their creators:
    • Only you can see meetings you create
    • This applies to all user types:
      • Free account users
      • Pro/Pro+ billing owners
      • Invited users
    Note: Other users in your organization cannot see your meetings

  1. For Pro/Pro+ accounts:
    • Enable "Send meeting invitation" during meeting creation
    • Add participant email addresses
    • Invitees receive an email with:
      • Meeting date/time
      • Meeting link
      • Meeting subject
      • Your name as host
  2. For all accounts:
    • Copy meeting link from meetings table
    • Share link directly with participants
  3. Note: Free plan is limited to 2 participants per meeting
Meeting Insights

  • Meeting Insights is an AI-powered analytics feature that provides:
    • Automatic meeting transcription
    • AI-generated meeting summaries
    • Key topics identification
    • Action items extraction
    • Follow-up tasks detection
    Note: This is a Pro+ feature that is FREE for all users until February 2025

  1. Go to the Insights page in your dashboard
  2. View your meetings list which shows:
    • All your meetings (recorded and unrecorded)
    • Meeting subject
    • Start time
    • Number of participants
    • Meeting duration
  3. The AI analysis status column shows:
    • "Not recorded" for meetings without recording
    • "Processing" while AI analyzes the recording
    • "View Analysis" link when insights are ready
  4. Note: Only recorded meetings can be analyzed

For each recorded meeting, you can view:

  1. Meeting Summary:
    • AI-generated overview of key points
    • Main discussion topics
  2. Key Topics:
    • Important themes discussed
    • Relevant keywords
  3. Action Items:
    • Tasks identified during the meeting
    • Commitments made by participants
  4. Follow-ups:
    • Items requiring future attention
    • Next steps discussed

  1. Open a meeting's insights page
  2. Click "View Full Transcript"
  3. The transcript shows:
    • Speaker identification
    • Timestamp for each segment
    • Complete conversation text
  4. Note: Transcripts are automatically generated and may require review

  1. Automatic recording of your meeting
  2. AI transcription of all conversations
  3. Natural language processing to identify:
    • Key discussion points
    • Action items
    • Follow-up tasks
  4. Generation of meeting summary
  5. Note: Analysis may take a few minutes after the meeting ends

  • After the free period ends:
    • Meeting Insights will become a Pro+ exclusive feature
    • Free and Pro users will need to upgrade to maintain access
    • Existing analyzed meetings will remain accessible
    • New analysis will require Pro+ subscription
    Take advantage of free access until February 2025!

  1. Meeting recording and analysis process:
  2. Meetings must be recorded to generate insights
  3. After recording completes:
    • Status changes to "Processing"
    • AI begins analyzing the content
    • Analysis includes transcription and insights
  4. When analysis is complete:
    • "View Analysis" link appears
    • All insights become available
  5. Note: You can see all your meetings but only analyze recorded ones
User Management

  • Pro and Pro+ accounts can:
    • Add and invite new team members
    • Manage user roles and permissions
    • Delete users from the organization
    • Resend invitations to pending users
    • View all team members in a table format
    Note: User management is not available on free accounts

For Pro/Pro+ Accounts:

  1. Navigate to Users page
  2. Click + Add user
  3. Enter user details:
    • Full name
    • Email address
  4. Click Add user to send invitation
Note: Pro accounts limited to 8 users
Pro+ allows unlimited users

  • Free Account Users:
    • Can create and join 15-minute meetings
    • Limited to 2 participants per meeting
    • Basic tour management
  • Pro Account Billing Owner:
    • All free features plus:
    • Can invite up to 8 team members
    • Can manage (add/delete) team members
    • Full meeting capabilities
  • Pro Account Invited User:
    • Full meeting capabilities
    • Cannot invite or manage other users
    • Can only see their own meetings
  • Pro+ Account Billing Owner:
    • All Pro features plus:
    • Can create and manage organizations
    • Can invite unlimited team members
    • Full organization management
  • Pro+ Account Invited User:
    • Full meeting capabilities
    • Cannot invite or manage other users
    • Can only see their own meetings
    • Limited to their assigned organization
Note: Permissions are managed by the billing owner

  • From the Users dashboard you can:
    • View all team members and their roles
    • Check pending invitation status
    • Resend invitations to pending users
    • Delete users from the organization
    Note: Owner accounts cannot be deleted

When you reach the user limit, you will be prompted to upgrade to a Pro+ plan.

Matterport Tours

  1. Navigate to Matterport Tours section
  2. Click "+ Add new" or "+ Add Matterport tour"
  3. Enter a name for your tour
  4. Paste your Matterport tour link
  5. Click "Create" to add the tour
  6. Note: Make sure you have a valid Matterport tour link

To find a copy of your Matterport tour URL, follow these steps:

  1. Open a website page where your matterport model is embedded
  2. Click the "Share this space" icon/button on the bottom right corner of the matterport model
  3. Copy the URL from the "Share this space" dialog. It should look like this: https://my.matterport.com/show?m=123456789AB

A valid Matterport tour link is a link to a Matterport tour that you have access to.

Valid formats are:


Matterport "show" links with a ?m= parameter:

  • https://my.matterport.com/show?m=123456789AB

Matterport "show" links with additional query parameters:

  • https://my.matterport.com/show?m=123456789AB&other=params

Matterport "show" links with / before ?m= instead of ?m= directly:

  • https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=abcdefghijk

Matterport Discover Space URLs:

  • https://matterport.com/discover/space/abcdefghijk

Only Model ID:

  • 123456789AB

  • Rename tours to keep them organized
  • Delete tours when they are no longer needed
  • Use tours in virtual meetings
  • Share tours with team members

  • Create new folders using the "+ Add folder" button
  • Rename folders by clicking the menu (three dots) and selecting "Rename"
  • Delete folders and their contents using the menu option "Delete"
  • Navigate into folders by clicking on them
  • Return to the root folder view using the "Back to Matterport tours" link

  • The tour will be permanently removed from your account
  • The tour will no longer be available in current or future meetings
  • This action cannot be undone
  • The original Matterport model remains unaffected
Organizations

  • Create dedicated workspaces for different clients
  • Manage multiple branded environments
  • Share Matterport tours in client-specific spaces
  • Customize branding for each organization
  • Note: Organizations feature is only available with Pro+ subscription

  • Organization management is restricted to:
    • Pro+ billing owners only
  • Pro+ Billing Owners can:
    • Create and delete organizations
    • Manage users across organizations
    • Switch between organizations
    • Manage organization settings
  • Invited Users (Pro+ accounts):
    • Can only see their assigned organization
    • Cannot manage organization settings
    • Cannot invite or manage other users
    • Can only see their own meetings

For Pro+ billing owners:

  1. Go to the Organizations page
  2. Click "+ Add organization"
  3. Enter the organization name
  4. Click "Add organization" to create
Note: Only Pro+ billing owners can create organizations

  • As a Pro+ billing owner, you can:
    • Switch between organizations using the organization selector
    • View organization-specific tours and users
    • Manage organization settings and branding
    • Delete organizations when no longer needed
  • Organization selector is available on:
    • Matterport Tours page
    • Users management page
    • Settings page

  • Unique branding and visual identity
  • Dedicated set of Matterport tours
  • Separate user management
This creates a tailored experience for each client

  • Users are organization-specific:
    • Members only see their assigned organization
    • Can only access tours within their organization
    • User roles are managed per organization
    Note: Only Pro+ billing owners can see all organizations
Settings & Customization

  • Meeting preferences:
    • Camera layout (vertical/horizontal)
    • Show/hide avatars
    Note: Settings apply to all your future meetings

  • Theme and colors:
    • Light/dark theme
    • Primary and secondary colors
    • Top bar appearance
  • Branding elements:
    • Company logo
    • Background image or color
    • Meeting settings modal appearance
    Note: Whitelabel features are only available for Pro/Pro+ accounts

  1. Click on your profile icon on the top right
  2. Click Profile
  3. You can update:
    • Your name
    • Organization name
  4. Click Update to save changes
  5. Note: Email address cannot be changed

  1. Click on your profile icon on the top right
  2. Find the Password section
  3. Enter:
    • New password
    • Confirm password
  4. Click "Change password" to update
  5. Note: Use a strong password with mixed characters
Technical Requirements

  • Modern desktop, laptop, mobile or tablet device
  • Modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, or Edge)
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps upload/download)
  • Webcam and microphone for full participation

  • Enable WebGL
  • Allow camera and microphone access. You can always grant access to the camera and microphone when you join a meeting.
  • Enable cookies
  • Disable aggressive ad blockers that might interfere with the application
